The most beautiful scenery in the world? You could make an argument for it.
The sheer cliff drops, the picture perfect beaches, the ocean - Cornwall really does have it all. Which makes it the perfect place for a campervan trip in the UK.
Kicking off on the North Coast - Tintagel
We love the north coast for the epic coastal walks. Staying at the Trewethett Farm Caravan and Motorhome Club Site you are right there a couple of metres from the path. Hidden beaches, secluded coves as well as the beautiful Tintagel Castle all await.
The perfect thing about having a campervan conversion is the ability to pack up and move quickly. Cornwall is the perfect destination for that as you can cruise into Padstow, have the obligatory Rick Stein's fish and chips before taking on the Camel Trail.
'Taking on' isn't exactly an accurate description. The trail is 18km and is pretty flat which gives you the confidence in stopping off at the Camel Valley winery before turning back to Padstow.
As beautiful as Padstow is we also like to explore the other parts of the county. And the first stop on the way to St Ives is the fabulous Bedruthan Steps.
The Rest of the North - St Ives
Although it is another popular spot along the North Coast, St Ives is a real jewel in Cornwall's Crown. Our favourite spot to stay is at Hellesveor Holidays.
Look at the location and you'll probably see that there is a theme emerging... the Coast Path.
Staying just outside St Ives gives you the opportunity to walk into the town to see the fabulous Barbara Hepworth Museum and the Tate.
So, are you ready to explore North Cornwall by campervan?
We love it especially when we are travelling in one of our very own T5 or T6 campervan conversions.
